Don Eastveld

Founder & Chief Executive Officer | Development

Don Eastveld is the owner, CEO, and visionary of TNRG. After arriving in Houston in late 1978, Don formed First Houston Properties, a commercial real estate brokerage firm, which expanded to include syndications, brokerage, and development under his leadership. Wanting to focus more on value-added acquisitions and development, he departed from First Houston Properties and formed TNRG in 1992. His sole mission was to provide clients with a first-class brokerage, development, and property management experience under one roof. In 1997, Don bought the Gerald Hines portfolio, which was the largest industrial transaction in the city at that time. In 1998, First Industrial bought his portfolio in excess of $60 million, and in 2000, TNRG started to aggressively pursue developments.

Don has developed, owned, managed, and invested in commercial real estate over the course of his career. His decades of dedication, combined with his keen and quiet business acumen, have earned him a place among the city’s leaders in commercial and industrial real estate professionals. Don’s proven track record and long list of loyal clients are a testament to his uncanny sense of the future in the real estate arena and ability to create sound investments with the returns that TNRG and its investors demand.
