How are TNRG agents typically paid?
Upon the successful completion of a transaction, the broker's fee is most commonly paid by the property owner / landlord for services rendered.
Will I get a cheaper deal if I negotiate my lease / sale / purchase without a broker?
Almost always the answer to this question will be "NO". With very few exceptions, the lanldord or property owner already has a 6% fee calculated into their transaction. Even if a broker is not used, that fee will be paid to the seller's or landlord's broker, in effect doubling what they make on the transaction and further encouraging them to keep the sales price or lease rate as high as possible (as is their fiduciary duty).
